Morgedal - the cradle of modern ski-sport - Sondre Nordheim's home village, lies in a central position for eastern, western and southern Norway, beside the major road E-134 in "the heart of Telemark". The Olympic flame was lit in this village for the Winter Sports in Oslo 1952, Squaw Valley in 1960 and Lillehammer in 1994. About the hotel

The Hotel has 70 rooms with all facilities, and a guest-house with 5 rooms and 3 apartments. Ballroom/bar with dancing to live music every day, except Sundays.

Food and beverage

Dining room/restaurant for up to 200 guests. Separate function rooms: Balder (100) and Kongstua (25). Excellent indoor swimming pool with solarium and sauna. Our cuisine is based on traditional Norwegian recipes. We are famous for our extensive evening buffet, but if you wish to order from the menu instead, we will be pleased to accommodate you.

Conference facilities

Conference facilities for up to 140 persons in school layout. 3 meeting rooms and 8 group rooms. Most technical conference aids. Free use of wireless broadband.
