Morgedal Hotell Telemark
![]() |
Morgedal - the cradle of modern ski-sport - Sondre Nordheim's home village, lies in a central position for eastern, western and southern Norway, beside the major road E-134 in "the heart of Telemark". The Olympic flame was lit in this village for the Winter Sports in Oslo 1952, Squaw Valley in 1960 and Lillehammer in 1994. The Hotel is a good starting point for visits to Telemark county's many cultural and activity events, and an excellent location for meetings, courses and other arrangements.
